The dining room is set with separate tables for each room, and our breakfast menu offers a choice of the Traditional English (very hearty), or lighter option for vegetarians, or those with smaller appetites or watching their weight. Our jam and marmalade are homemade, and we serve butter in pots, not in foil-wrapped patties. We have a Food Hygiene Certificate, and a "Welcome Host" certificate from the English Tourism Council. We also hold a Residential License.

All of our rooms are comfortably furnished and have en-suite bathrooms with excellent showers. All rooms are equipped with digital remote control colour TV, clock radio, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits, sweets and toiletries. One of our doubles is a four poster room. All of the rooms are designated as No-Smoking.

We have tried to make The Beresford more like a home than a hotel, where we aim to cater for all our guests' requirements, and provide that friendly, personal touch which makes a holiday more enjoyable. We pride ourselves on our standards of cleanliness and customer care. We only set minimum stays at peak times of the year, we hope that if at first you come for a night or two, you will enjoy Paignton and the Beresford so much that you will return for longer. There are lower priced hotels in Paignton, but we are confident you will find that our location, quality and comfort are worth a small difference in cost. The number of our guests who frequently return proves this.
